The Lostallo track is the result of years of searching for the right place and terrain to provide a ‘home’ for all modellers in Italian-speaking Switzerland.
The club, which was initially still called Mini Racing Ticino (MRT), after not a few difficulties, was forced to reinvent itself and change its policy, taking advantage of the opportunity to create a track (for electric models) on the forecourt/parking lot of a company. Since then, the search for a definitive solution has never stopped.
After a thousand attempts and after a thousand doors closed in our faces, we began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Having found the ideal terrain, we just had to be patient until the municipality and the canton issued the permits, and now the project for the new track took shape and became reality!
The idea behind the Lostallo track project is a concrete, far-sighted one that will cover the needs of our sport for a long time; this is thanks to the thought towards ‘tomorrow’ that the project itself carried from the very beginning.
